The Process Theatre strives to educate, enlighten, and enhance the community through new and established works. Artistic Director DeWayne Morgan and our resident artists are thrilled to celebrate more than ten years of producing, as we continue to introduce new voices and big ideas to Atlanta audiences.  The Process Theatre Co. is proud to be a resident company at OnStage Atlanta, one of the city's longest-running theatrical companies.

Thanks for supporting our 2014 PLAY DAY
New Play Read-a-thon
Sunday November 16th from 10am to 10pm

When is it? Sunday November 16th from 10am-10pm
Where is it? OnStage Atlanta in Decatur
What is it?... A ten hour Nbew Play Reading Marathon that benefits Process Theatre
How can I be involved? There are two ways you can participate: as a reader and as an audience member.

Being a reader means you will be in one group which will read about four plays over the course of the day. First you need to contact Process by phone, email, or visit our website for your pledge sheet and more information. It only takes $25 of other people￿s money to start. It is just like a walk-a-thon, where you get people to pledge $1 for every mile that you run/walk, but in this case they pledge the money for every hour that you read: $1/hr for ten hours equals $10 pledged. The minimum is $25 but the maximum is however much you want to raise for Process. What￿s the catch? Well, the person who raises the most money will win a prize package valued over $200 with free tickets to theatres all over Atlanta, including Process, Shakespeare Tavern, Stage Door, Working Title, Horizon, and many others. But don￿t feel like you have to raise $1000 single-handedly . . . for every $25 that you raise, your name goes in a hat (so for $75 you have your name in three times) and the person who is drawn at the end of the day wins a second prize package.

To be an audience member you just need to show up at any time during the day. Price for admission is just $5 for the whole day!!! And as an extra incentive, we will have a drawing at the end of the day and one audience member or reader will win a prize package with free tickets to theatres all over Atlanta.

Pastries and coffee, sandwiches and soda, snacks, and pizza will be provided throughout the day.

Call 404-245-4205 or email us at for registration packets, to sponsor a reader, or for more information. Admission will be $5 all day to listen to as much great work as you like! Come help Process Theatre raise money as you eat free food and show off your acting skills!

Young audiences delight in our touring production, JOURNEY TO ALPHABETICA.  Join us in the delightful tale of a young student named Bobbie, whose resistance in learning to read launches her on a magical and mystical journey into the Land of Alphabetica. Inside this land, she meets many characters, both friend and foe, who help her find her passion for reading and learning.

JOURNEY TO ALPHABETICA is designed for production in virtually any space, perfect for classrooms, auditoriums, community centers, and pavilions. Contact The Process Theatre Co. to schedule a performance!
